Juhi founded Nuwe out of a simple desire to bring light and positive energy into daily life and special moments.

Fragrance, she believed, was never just something you wear. It’s the invisible thread that connects a morning ritual to a cherished memory. It’s the quiet confidence before a big moment. It’s the warmth that lingers after you’ve left the room. It is, at its core, deeply personal and an expression of who you are, told without words.

Yet in India, that experience came with a compromise. Luxury perfumes were either unaffordable or they faded within hours, too delicate for the heat, the humidity, the long and full days that define life here. The options that lasted cost a fortune. The options that weren’t weren’t worth wearing.

She wanted something different.

So she started learning. She studied fragrance traditions from France, Switzerland, Kannauj, and the UAE, the origins of the world’s finest perfumery. She sourced oils directly from these houses. Then she brought them home, to Kerala, and began blending by hand-crafting scents that could carry someone through a full day without a second thought.

Every Nuwe perfume is made with up to 40% fragrance oil concentration, closer to extrait de parfum quality than anything you’d find near the same price. Each bottle is handcrafted in small batches, never mass-produced. Every scent is built to last, to evolve, to leave something behind.

This is not accidental. It is the entire point.

As a women-founded brand rooted in Kerala, Nuwe was built on the belief that luxury shouldn’t be a privilege. That individuality shouldn’t cost a fortune to express. That the right fragrance, the kind that becomes part of how people remember you, should be within reach of everyone.
